It is home to a diverse array of flora and fauna, including many endangered species. The Congo Rainforest is located in the Congo Basin, which covers parts of the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Central African Republic, Cameroon, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, and the Republic of the Congo. The rainforest is fed by the Congo River, which is the second-longest river in Africa and the deepest in the world.
